Pursuant to Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order 147, and to further ensure guest well-being, effective June 26 masks or face coverings are mandatory for anyone 11 years and over while in public spaces. While we plan to have masks on hand, please be sure to bring your own mask or other face-covering with you.

Here at Snowbird, our team continues to work diligently to ensure the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness with enhanced routine cleaning and more proactive and preventative measures in place daily. 

General Information

-All members of our team are required to wear masks, wash their hands, and use sanitizer frequently, Servers in the restaurant will be serving with masks and gloves. (Read more about the restaurant below.)

-A hospital-grade dual immunity and self-protection product, Theraworx Protect, that goes beyond cleansers and sanitizers (safe for your hands and face), is available for use by our guests in our great room and public restrooms.

-Surface sanitizing wipes have been added to guest rooms for use during your stay. Disposable masks are available upon request.

-Activities, such as birding, hiking events, and wine dinners will accommodate safe distancing.

-The health of our team members is being carefully monitored during each shift.

-A hospital grade disinfectant is being used after a guest departure and prior to a guest arrival in each room.

Check-in/Check-out 

-Check-in procedures have been streamlined to gather information such as dining time request to accommodate minimal contact guidelines.

-Guests will receive a final bill via email prior to departure, so it will not be necessary to visit the Front Desk to complete your check-out.

-A $25 charge will be applied to the final bill for keys not returned to the key basket at the front desk.

Housekeeping 

Our team looks forward to providing you with the highest level of service and attention, and understand if you prefer team members to not enter your room. To accommodate personal preferences, we are offering options for your Housekeeping service:

-Housekeeping Daily Service: Snowbird’s traditional service, for those guests who prefer daily make up service.

-Decline daily service: If you prefer to maintain your personal space during your stay, we will stock your room appropriately for the entire stay.

Dining/Restaurant

-Snowbird Mountain Lodge’s restaurant/bar is open for hotel guests only during the 2020 season. 

-Table spacing and dining times have been adjusted to allow six feet between tables. Please note on weekends, dinner service will run 5:30-8:00 p.m. to allow for social distancing. All other days, dinner service will run from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

-The bar area will remain closed, to comply with state guidelines. Drinks will be available to order however, seating is not allowed in the bar.
