The Ingredients
- 8 1/2 Cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
- 8 oz Butter (softened)
- 2 Egg yolks
- 3 1/2 TBS. Cocoa
- 3 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 1/4- 1/3 c. Milk
- 2 Beaten Egg whites
How To Make
In a separate bowl whip egg whites, making a meringue with stiff peaks. Set aside for final frosting.
Combine softened butter and half of the powdered sugar. Add egg yolks, mix in cocoa, and then add vanilla. Add milk and last half of powdered sugar- alternating a splash of milk to a cup or so of powdered sugar. Mix to desired consistency. keeping the frosting slightly firm. Add the beaten egg whites as the final touch for the light fluffiness of the frosting.
